Serozinc by La Roche-Posay REVIEW

La Roche-Posay Serozinc

This product has long been popular in France and has finally become available here in the UK without having to have it shipped in (Thanks to the amazing Caroline Hirons shouting from the rooftops I would imagine). Serozinc from La Roche-Posay is a toning mist enriched with zinc sulphate to help purify blemish-prone and troublesome skin.

Serozinc is created with just three ingredients: La Roche-Posay’s ultra-soothing thermal spring water, healing zinc sulphate (0.10%) and astringent sodium chloride (0.75%). Together, these three ingredients target blemishes, marks and excess oiliness, ensuring your complexion feels fresh and comfortable at any time of day.
Hypoallergenic, non-perfumed, suitable for acne-prone skin.

I tend to use this after cleansing and acid toning but before any facial oil (yes you can use facial oils if you have oily skin), serums and moisturisers. I've found that it has helped to keep any oiliness at bay.  Despite it's claims of targeting blemishes and marks I cannot say I have noticed any difference in my skin apart from being more matte throughout the day.  I have my skin pretty under control at the moment so I haven't been experiencing many breakouts and as for shrinking the size of pores, well we all know that is not going to happen!  I would definitely recommend this to anyone who suffers from oiliness, as being an oily person myself, I know you will try anything to reduce shine. It is definitely suitable for all skin types though as it doesn't dry out the skin, simply keep it shine-free.
